Payment and Refund Policy

This Payment and Refund Policy has been translated from the Korean version for convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy, inconsistency, or conflict in interpretation between the Korean version and any translated version, the Korean version shall prevail.

1. Purpose

This Policy is intended to provide guidance on payment, credit accrual and use, withdrawal, cancellation, and refund standards for the PLANDOG service. Matters not set forth in this Policy are governed by applicable laws and separate notices of the Company.

2. Payment Methods

The Company may provide the following payment methods in accordance with its service operation policies.

  1. International Card Payment (Polar)
    • The Company may sell credits or paid products through Polar checkout using credit cards or other supported payment methods.
    • In such cases, Polar may act as the Merchant of Record and perform certain tasks related to payment, billing, international indirect tax handling, and orders.

3. Pricing and Billing

  1. The prices, currencies, and composition of paid products within the Service are displayed on the payment screen or a separate notice page.
  2. The actual charged amount may vary depending on the payment country, applicable taxes, exchange rates, card issuer policies, and payment infrastructure provider policies.
  3. The Company may change product composition, prices, currencies, or availability after prior notice.

4. Credit Accrual and Use

  1. Paid Credits are credited to the user's account after payment is successfully completed.
  2. The validity period of Paid Credits is one (1) year from the payment date, and any unused Paid Credits will automatically expire upon expiration of such period.
  3. The validity period of Free/Promotional Credits will be separately notified at the time they are granted.
  4. If no separate validity period is displayed for Free/Promotional Credits, the validity period will be one (1) month from the date of grant.
  5. Credits will be deducted in the following order of priority:
    • First priority: Free/Promotional Credits
    • Second priority: Paid Credits
  6. The scope of credit use, deduction standards, and available functions are subject to the Service interface, product description, or separate notice.
  7. Credits may not be converted into cash or transferred in a manner not permitted by applicable law.

5. General Principles for Cancellation and Refunds

  1. Refunds and withdrawal of subscription will be handled in accordance with applicable laws, service use conditions, and this Policy.
  2. Users may contact the Company's customer support channel if issues arise, including payment errors, duplicate payments, non-delivery, or system failures.
  3. In determining whether a refund is available, the Company may review the payment date and time, whether credits were used, accrual records, whether the Service was provided, and the grounds for the dispute.

6. Refund Policy for Card Payments

  1. Refund requests for card payments may be submitted through the Company's customer support channel.
  2. Refunds will be reviewed in accordance with applicable laws, whether the product has been used, payment status, and the policies of Polar or other payment processors.
  3. If Paid Credits have not been used at all and the use of digital content or paid features has not substantially commenced, a refund may be available in accordance with applicable laws and the Company's policies.
  4. If Paid Credits or paid features have already been used in whole or in part, or if the provision of digital content or paid features has commenced, refunds may be restricted to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  5. If the Company approves a refund, Merchant of Record fees or fees actually incurred during payment processing may be deducted.
  6. In the case of card payment refunds, card processing fees may be deducted depending on the circumstances, and in some cases they may not be deducted.
  7. Even if the Company operates a separate refund limitation policy, refunds may be processed in accordance with the policies of the payment processor or Merchant of Record.

7. Cases Where Refunds May Be Restricted

Refunds may be restricted to the extent permitted by applicable law in each of the following cases:

  1. where Paid Credits or paid features have already been used in whole or in part;
  2. where the value of the Service has been materially diminished due to reasons attributable to the user;
  3. where the provision of digital content or paid features has already commenced after payment;
  4. where the account has been restricted due to violation of the Company's operational policies or service use conditions; or
  5. where there are special circumstances under applicable laws or payment processor policies that restrict refunds.

8. Notice Regarding the Nature of Digital Content

  1. PLANDOG is an online service that provides digital functions and generated outputs through credits.
  2. Once the provision of digital content or paid features has commenced, withdrawal of subscription may be restricted.
  3. To the extent required by applicable law, the Company may provide guidance so that users can understand the nature of the products through service descriptions, Free/Promotional Credits, or other methods of information provision.

9. Inquiries and Processing Procedure

  1. Inquiries regarding payments, refunds, and orders may be submitted through the following channel:
  2. If verification is necessary, the Company may request additional materials regarding the submitted inquiry.
  3. The Company will endeavor to provide a response within seven (7) business days from the date of receipt.
  4. If a refund is approved, the actual time for the refund to be reflected may vary depending on the card issuer, payment network, exchange rate, or payment infrastructure provider's processing schedule.

10. Changes to This Policy

The Company may amend this Policy due to changes in laws, taxes, payment methods, pricing policies, product composition, or operational policies. If there are material changes, the effective date and key changes will be announced through notices within the Service or a linked page.
